Just Do It!
A childhood friend reached out last week. Not randomly. Because of a video I posted on Instagram. He saw it, and decided to reach out after years of distance. We talked on the phone. Plans to meet up soon and you never know, we may end up doing business together.
Here's what got me: I almost didn't post that video. There was a moment where it felt small, or not polished enough. But I put it out anyway. And it mattered because at least it got me a conversation with a long time friend.
I've been thinking about this, and it's made me realize something I think you need to hear too. Whatever you've got going, whatever idea has been sitting in your head, whatever career move you've been thinking about, whatever business concept keeps you up at night: JUST DO IT. Launch it. Try it. Put it out there.
You don't know who's watching. You don't know who needs exactly what you're building or creating. You only know that if you don't do it, nobody wins. Not your potential clients. Not your future self. And not the person on the other end who's waiting to see if you have what it takes to show up.
Today I'm grateful for a friend who saw something I shared and took the opportunity to reconnect. And I'm pushing myself to keep putting things out there, the real stuff, the imperfect stuff, the stuff that matters.
Whatever's next for you, don't wait too long. You've got this.
Take care, Matt!
